Dear colleagues,

Today September 23, 2025 BelGIE (the Belarusian National Inspection for Electric Communications) has released an official statement confirming that the frequency range of 50 – 52 MHz has been released to the Amateur and Amateur Satellite Services of Belarus. The 6 m band is available for the Class A (top license class in Belarus) amateur radio licence holders. The Class A license holders can now apply for a permission to use the extra 50 – 52 MHz radio frequency spectrum.

It is a great and long awaited news for the amateur community.
