For nyligt har der været afholdt 10 GHz contest på den anden side af dammen. Frank AG6QV har sendt lidt billeder og tekst. Selvom bjerge ofte står i vejen for radiobølgerne kan man godt bruge dem som reflektorer. Hvis man kigger efter på billederne kan man finde Franks OZ kaldesignal.
W7FU John, K6JEY Doug, KD7UO Dale and W7GLF Ray attempting to work N6MN Bill who is on a mountain top noth of us but we use Mt Rainer to the south as a reflection point. W7GLF Was able to complete the QSO. AG6QV was able to hear N6MN on SSB and CW but did not have enough power to complete the contact.
